THIS is the Year I Finally ___________! with Katrina Kittle

6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Miamisburg
Community Room

The New Year is a powerful time to check in with yourself and set new goals. All too often, though, the idea of New Year’s resolutions leave people feeling frustrated and hopeless—maybe you feel stuck, you’re unhappy with an aspect (or two or ten) of your current life but aren't sure where to begin. Maybe you start the year with strong intentions but that resolve wears away and is lost by the time the gray days of February unfold. Maybe you’ve listed the same New Year's resolutions year after year with no progress and can’t help but wonder, “Why bother?” You should bother—because you’re worth it. A series of exercises in this class will help you focus on what you really desire and the parts of your life that you can actually control. We’ll revive and refine our dreams so that they’re easier to capture, and we’ll focus on pitfalls that may have trapped us (like being too vague about what we want) as well as tips for keeping our promises to ourselves (like making our resolutions nonnegotiable, and one of the most important: treating ourselves kindly). Let's harness the energy of the New Year to keep the fire of our dreams blazing through the entire new year.
