Teen/Tweens will guess how many school supplies that are in the book bag. The Teen/Tween who guesses the closest without going over will win the book bag of supplies. Open to Teens/Tweens grade 7th thru grade 12.
Begin your preparation for the HSE (High School Equivalence) GED, HiSet, TASC with FREE Adult Classes offered by Miami Valley Career Technology Center at the Dayton Metro Library. Practice reading, writing, math, and critical thinking skills that form the foundation of HSE success. Engage in workplace skills with Key Train/Work Keys training, ADP (Adult Diploma Program options) and studying with career coaching. Classes held at the Main Library Technology Lab B, 215 E Third Street, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. Come enjoy an activity that is some part art, and some part making. Activities include crafts, science, culinary skills, and visual art projects. Grades 7th-12th. Limited to 15 people, first come first serve.
