Teri Clark Linden, American Actress & Narrator represented by Stewart Talent, NY, & narrates on site, or from her state of the art Whisper Room studio. Her performances from Shakespeare to new plays at Jeff Daniels Purple Rose Theatre, in films (JACK REACHER, SUPER 8) & voicing hundreds of commercials make it easy creating just the right tone, character & dialect for author's works. African Drumming Workshop

Discover West African Rhythm through drumming and dance.  Learn the three basic sounds of the African djembe, a goblet-shaped drum popular in West Africa.  Sogbety Diomande, a drummer and performer from the Ivory Coast will teach the basic techniques of hand drumming, focusing on drumming styles found in the Ivory Coast.  Q & A with the artist follows.

This workshop will be followed by a performance of West African Rhythm with Sogbety

Sogbety Diomande has been drumming since his early teens, playing the traditional drum music of the West African region in which he was raised. Since moving to the United States in 1997, Diomande has performed with a number of dance companies, including the Mask Dance Company; the Kotchenga Dance Company; Company Kobake; the Djoniba Dance Company; and Tokounou, a Guinean dance and drum company. He also performed on Jimmy Buffet’s tour in 2000 and as a resident artist at Disney World’s Harambe African Village. More recently, Diomande has been teaching drumming in the U.S., including regularly teaching in his adopted home of Ohio.

This haunting thriller is set in 1921, in a post-war England where many of the bereaved seek solace in spiritualism. Haunted by the death of her fiance, Florence Cathcart (Rebecca Hall) is committed to debunking supernatural claims. When she is asked to visit a boarding school in the countryside to investigate the alleged sightings of a ghostly young boy, she feels compelled to take the job.

She sets to work, laying traps and gathering scientific evidence. Gradually secrets begin to unravel and the mystery surrounding the ghost appears nothing more than a prank. As Florence is set to leave, however, she experiences a chilling encounter that defies all reason.
