The Dayton Metro Library would like to invite the community to come celebrate the achievements, sacrifices, and contributions of some of Dayton’s finest LGBTQ+ elders (50+ years old). This pinning ceremony will serve as an opportunity to hear directly from the honorees on Dayton’s LGBTQ+ history, insights on the future, and maybe even some helpful advice to consider when trying to make your own impact. Each honoree will be presented with a token of DML’s appreciation for aiding in the fight for inclusion, equity, and hope.  

Come help us celebrate where we’re headed by taking a look at how far we’ve come. Reception 5:00-6:00pm followed by program and ceremony 6:00-7:00pm.  Seating will be limited, so pre-registration is preferred.
