Read Around the World Challenge for Adults

How to play:
*Stop by the Vandalia branch to pick up your free READ AROUND THE WORLD booklet to log your destinations.
*Read 5 books set in 5 different countries.
*Complete the challenge and be entered into a prize drawing. Each boarding pass counts as an entry, so you can earn up to 5 chances!
*Any format may be used.
*Books can be adult fiction or non-fiction (no travel guides).
*The United States cannot be used as a destination. The majority of the story must take place internationally.
*After reading each book, turn in your boarding pass to the Vandalia Ask Me Desk. Staff will mark destinations on a map throughout the challenge.

The University of Dayton Department of Art and Design’s graphic design students visualized local poet Sierra Leone’s poetry to create new meanings that celebrate humanity, community, inclusivity and diversity. Featuring nearly 20 poems, the exhibit showcases “the actions of connections, imagination, learning and linking experience into tangible outcomes as the words move you through the space – literally and metaphorically.”
