Book a private story time for your household with one of Brookville's youth services staff. We'll read, sing songs, do rhymes and fingerplays, and send you home with a craft. Ages birth to 5. Email Ms. Alexis directly or call 463-2665 and ask to speak to the staff at Brookville in order to book a time. Spaces limited; first come, first serve.
In partnership with the Biology department at the University of Dayton, the Wilmington-Stroop branch library will be hosting several aquatic animals during the month of June. Stop by anytime during business hours to see our own mini aquarium which will include an axolotl and a clownfish. Special feeding times will be posted in our Opportunity Space.

Visit the Main Library for an exhibit celebrating the Miami Valley's LGBTQIA+ community. Sponsored by Dayton Society of Artists, this exhibit includes digital art, photography, mixed-media, oil on canvas, textile collage, and more.
The University of Dayton Department of Art and Design’s graphic design students visualized local poet Sierra Leone’s poetry to create new meanings that celebrate humanity, community, inclusivity and diversity. Featuring nearly 20 poems, the exhibit showcases “the actions of connections, imagination, learning and linking experience into tangible outcomes as the words move you through the space – literally and metaphorically.”
Enjoy the 3D artworks created by artist-in-residence Delora Buford-Buchanan and library patrons that will turn the Opportunity Space @ St. Clair into a giant aquarium.

See who can get to the candy castle first! Drop by anytime during business hours and enjoy a life-sized version of the favorite childhood game of Candyland. Game is limited to 4 players at a time. Children 8 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Color and decorate a butterfly -- a symbol of hope, growth, and change. And view the Tree of Life Memorial -- nine paintings done by local artists to represent the nine lives lost in the horrific Oregon District shooting on August 4,2019. The artworks were designed for people to write notes of remembrance and tack them onto the trees. The Kaleidoscope of Butterflies will build on this effort, allowing participants to reflect on the third anniversary of the local tragedy and other more recent ills by leaving intentions for positive change.
